For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the terms “GURU AVIATION LTD” and “FLIGHTS GURU PVT. LTD” are used interchangeably and refer to the same legal entity.
Flights Guru's terms and conditions specify the liability of agencies in relation to regulations and circumstances. The terms 'We', 'Us', and 'Our' on the policy page refer to Flights Guru and govern the relationship between us and our customers. The information presented on our website is for informational purposes only.
By agreeing to use our services, you are bound by the terms of our agreement. Therefore, we advise you to carefully read our 'terms of use' and 'policies' before agreeing to use our services.
Passenger Responsibilities
When traveling with Flights Guru, it is your responsibility to provide authentic and valid documents, including entry and exit visas. To ensure proper identification, passengers must carry a passport with a minimum of six months validity before the flight. It is your responsibility to comply with applicable laws, and if you fail to do so, we cannot be held liable for any losses. As per the policies and regulations of Flights Guru, passengers are solely responsible for any fines, penalties, or expenses incurred, and may be denied boarding if they fail to meet the requirements.
Personal Details
Flights Guru cannot be held responsible or liable for any incorrect information provided by passengers. Passengers, payees, or individuals making bookings are required to provide accurate details without any errors.
It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that the name on the itinerary matches their passport. Any requests for corrections to the name after the tickets have been issued may result in penalties. It's important to note that full name changes are not allowed, and the tickets are non-transferable.
Travel Policies and Regulations
The travel policies of Flights Guru clearly state that we shall not be held responsible for any damages arising due to incorrect travel dates, flight details, or destination information, whether it's for international or domestic travel. It is the sole responsibility of the payee to verify and confirm all the details provided to us before we issue the travel tickets.
Travel Plan Change Policy
After the issuance of tickets, changes to the policies are possible but will incur penalty fees. Any changes made will be subject to an increase in fares and taxes, and a reissue fee of $150 may apply per ticket, along with any fare or tax differences and additional penalties by the airline. To avoid any inconvenience, it is important to notify us of any changes in your travel plans at least 48 hours prior on working days.
Payment Transfers
The prices for travel tickets offered by Flights Guru are subject to change until the payment is completed by the passenger. If payment is not received by the agency, the tickets will not be issued. We will issue tickets only when the full payment has been transferred by the passenger. Please note that the prices and rates per person may vary at the time of booking, and we do not inform passengers before any changes. It is your responsibility to stay updated about our services and terms and conditions. Additionally, the merchant fee will be included in credit card payments. To ensure that you receive the benefits of our services, please keep in touch with us for updated information about your transfers.
Liability to Visas & Special Permits
Flights Guru cannot guarantee travel if the passenger's documents do not comply with the applicable laws and regulations. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, and re-entry permits. Failure to meet the regulatory requirements may result in fines imposed on the passenger or traveler, and the agency will not be held responsible for any such fines.
Passport Validity
It is highly recommended to renew your passport before traveling to other countries to avoid any inconvenience or legal issues. Different countries have their own unique travel regulations and requirements, and it is the responsibility of the passengers to comply with them. If your passport is set to expire within six months after your date of travel, certain countries may not permit you to enter. It is important to ensure that your passport is valid and up-to-date before embarking on any international travel.
Cancellation Fee
If a flight gets canceled, Flights Guru is not obligated to provide a full refund for the tickets. The cancellation fee will only be applicable once the payment is received by the agency. The amount of the fee is not fixed and may vary based on current airfares, up to 100% of the ticket price. Please note that non-refundable tickets cannot be refunded. If the passenger cancels the booking, a fee of $150 will be charged along with an additional fee charged by the airline, which is not included in the $150.
Right to Refund
Flights Guru will issue a full refund of the payment only after receiving the funds from the supplier concerned. The time required for the refund process may vary and typically takes around 14 to 16 weeks from the date of submitting the refund request. However, there might be instances when the process may take longer than anticipated due to unforeseeable circumstances. We urge our clients to be patient and cooperate with us while we work towards resolving the matter.
Covid-19 Refund
We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has created a constantly changing situation, and we have implemented special conditions to assist our customers during this time. Please note the following:
- Refund processing time for cancelled flights is estimated to be 24-26 weeks.
- The validity and conditions of credit vouchers issued for cancelled flights are subject to the policies of the airlines involved and may vary.
- Service charges may apply for full refunds due to cancelled travel plans, and these charges may vary depending on the airline.
- If a refund is refused by the airline due to their policy, the matter will need to be addressed directly with the airline.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during these challenging times, and we remain committed to providing you with the best possible service.
Booking Reconfirmation
The carrier reserves the right to modify the tickets and flights as needed, and may cancel your tickets without prior notification. Flights Guru is not responsible for confirming your tickets or travel details, as it is the passenger's responsibility to verify their tickets and flight schedules with the relevant airlines. To prevent any issues during your travel, we recommend that you confirm your travel arrangements with the airline at least 72 hours before your departure.
Checking of Tickets
We are always here to assist you in case you have any doubts or concerns about your tickets and travel arrangements. However, please keep in mind that it is your responsibility as a traveler to make sure that you have received your tickets before your departure. Additionally, you are responsible for meeting all the requirements for travel, such as having the necessary documents and complying with all applicable rules and regulations. This will help ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
Credit Card Fees
To pay for your bookings with Flights Guru using a credit card, you will be charged a surcharge fee. By making the payment with your credit card, you agree to pay this surcharge fee and waive any claims against Flights Guru for this fee. For MasterCard and Visa credit cards issued by banks, the surcharge fee is 2%. For premium credit cards issued by companies such as Coles, Credit Union, GE credit card, and others, the surcharge fee is 4%.
NOTICE: It is also recommended to keep a copy of your flight itinerary and confirmation details handy in case of any confusion or discrepancies. If you face any issues or confusion, you can always contact the Flights Guru customer support team for assistance.
Airport Check-in Requirements
The check-in time for flights may vary depending on the airline, airport, and destination. It is always recommended to check with the airline or travel agency about the check-in time for your specific flight. In general, it is advisable to arrive at the airport at least 2-3 hours before the scheduled departure time to allow sufficient time for security checks, baggage drop, and other formalities. This will also help you avoid any last-minute rush or delays that may cause you to miss your flight.
Health Concerns
It is clearly mentioned in the terms and conditions of Flights Guru that the passenger is solely responsible for any health-related issues before and during the travel. The passenger must comply with all the airline's health requirements and recommendations. It is the responsibility of the passenger to carry all necessary medical and vaccination documents while traveling.
Working Schedules
Flights Guru is available to assist you during weekdays, but we are not available on weekends and public holidays. Our staff is also not available outside of office hours. We regret that we cannot address any inquiries or requests during unforeseen circumstances.
Taxes and Fees
According to our booking terms and conditions, passengers are responsible for paying any applicable taxes imposed by various countries in addition to the ticket fare. These taxes may vary and are subject to change by the airline without prior notification to the passenger.

Our promotional fare policy states that services offered during promotions are valid for a limited time and may be subject to certain restrictions. Any changes made by the passenger to carrier, flight, time, or routing during promotional fares will be charged as a penalty. We encourage passengers to inform us of any changes so we can assist in case of any issues. Limitation of Liability
Flights Guru would like to emphasize that we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseeable or uncontrollable damages or losses incurred during travel, including those caused by other service providers. Any statements made in the contract are purely for informational purposes only.
However, in situations where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the total value of the travel arrangements purchased through Flights Guru. We want to clarify that any damages, losses, accidents or health issues that occur during travel, whether directly or indirectly, are beyond our control and are not the responsibility of Flights Guru.
